TeacherActive is proud to be working with Secondary Schools in Powys, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor. The schools provide a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, with a strong emphasis on developing pupils'' confidence, independence and academic achievement.

TeacherActive is looking to take on a motivated Cover Supervisor on a temporary / permanent basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Cover Supervisor will support pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-planned work and ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused throughout their lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with children or young people within a Secondary School or educational setting (desirable)

• The confidence to supervise classes and deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects

• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• A flexible, patient and adaptable approach to supporting pupils'' learning

• A genuine passion for education and helping young people reach their full potential
