Cover Supervisor

Are you a confident Cover Supervisor who can effectively manage a Secondary classroom?

Do you have strong behaviour management skills and experience working with young people across varied year groups?

Are you adaptable and comfortable delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of different subjects?

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor for temporary day-to-day work from September 2026, with both part-time and full-time availability considered. The successful Cover Supervisor will work across varied year groups and subjects, delivering pre-planned work, maintaining a positive learning environment and using strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain a new DBS
• Previous classroom experience within a Secondary School is desirable
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Specific subject knowledge or a subject specialism is desirable
• Confidence working with students across varied year groups
• A flexible, adaptable and positive approach
