The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, youandrsquo;ll be holding the fort when teachers are absent andmdash; ensuring lessons continue to run like a well-oiled pencil sharpener. Donandrsquo;t worry, thereandrsquo;s no marking or planning andndash; just supervising and supporting students to stay on task.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Acting as a positive role model and keeping pupils engaged
• Reporting back to teaching staff on any issues or achievements

What Youandrsquo;ll Need:

• Previous experience working with children or young people (schools, sports clubs, youth work etc.)
• Confidence and presence in a classroom environment andndash; you donandrsquo;t need to be the next Shakespeare, just someone who can command attention without detention!
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (donandrsquo;t have one£ No stress andndash; we can help you get it)
• EWC registration (or willingness to register)
