Secondary Cover Supervisor - Basingstoke

Location: Basingstoke

Start Date: September 2025

Pay: andpound;90 - andpound;130 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Hours: 8:00am - 3:30pm

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (with potential for a permanent role)

The Opportunity

Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a full-time Cover Supervisor on behalf of a well-respected secondary school in Basingstoke, starting in September 2025. This is a long-term role with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

As a Cover Supervisor, you''ll be responsible for supervising lessons in a range of subjects - including Maths, History, and Geography - for students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Although all lessons will be pre-planned, your role will involve delivering the materials, managing classroom behaviour, and keeping students engaged and on-task.

This role is ideal for anyone considering a career in teaching or for those with previous experience in education looking for a new challenge.
