The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4. This full-time role begins in January 2026 and may become a long-term or permanent position for the right candidate. You will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities

andbull; Supervise students and deliver pre-set lesson materials
andbull; Support student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
andbull; Manage classroom expectations in line with school policies
andbull; Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress
andbull; Work collaboratively with the school team to support daily operations

andbull; Strong communication and organisational skills
andbull; Confidence in managing classroom behaviour
andbull; A positive, proactive, and adaptable mindset
andbull; A passion for supporting young people in their education
andbull; Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
andbull; Teaching or classroom experience is desirable but not essential
