Cover Supervisor Location: Milton Keynes Contract: Full-Time Daily Rate: £100 - £150 per day Start Date: ASAPRole Overview: We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Milton Keynes seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff to gain valuable classroom experience in a dynamic and supportive school environment.As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, maintaining behaviour standards, and supporting pupils with their learning.Key Responsibilities: Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences across a range of subjects Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school s policies Respond to general questions and provide basic support to students during lessons Ensure a calm, safe, and productive learning environment Report back to teaching staff on class performance and any issues Ideal Candidate: Confident, professional, and able to manage a classroom environment independently Previous experience working with young people (e.g., in a school, tutoring, coaching, mentoring) is highly desirable Strong communication and organisational skills Flexible, proactive, and resilient under pressure Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred Committed to safeguarding and ..... full job details .....
