Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Coventry & Warwickshire)
Location: Coventry & Warwickshire
Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
Pay: £90–£100 per day

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to deliver pre-set lesson plans during teacher absences. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school environment and support students in their learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising students in the absence of the regular teacher

• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment

• Delivering set work and responding to general student queries

• Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and conduct

We’re Looking For:

• Confident individuals with strong communication and organisational skills

• Someone with classroom experience (preferred but not essential)

• Graduates or individuals considering a future in teaching are welcome

• Ability to manage groups of secondary-aged students in a classroom setting

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor- No experience required you will:

• A strong interest in education and working with young people.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• A positive, resilient, and adaptable attitude.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• A strong interest in education and working with young people.
