Our school partnerships include Catholic settings where community and personal development matter. At secondary level, the published emphasis on safety, respect and kindness provides a clear foundation for classroom expectations. The Cover Supervisor brief is to supervise work prepared by teaching staff, keep pupils engaged and maintain the school’s routines. The phase and responsibilities will be discussed against your experience. During a cover lesson Introduce the work and make instructions clear. Keep the class focused and respond to questions about the task. Follow behaviour procedures and request support when necessary. Record what was completed and provide an accurate handover. Evidence of classroom readiness We’re looking for experience managing groups of children or young people, maintaining boundaries and communicating clearly.
