This position suits someone adaptable, organised, and able to manage classroom behaviour while delivering pre-set work effectively. About the Cover Supervisor Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. You will follow lesson plans provided and maintain a focused and disciplined classroom environment. Key Responsibilities as Cover Supervisor: Lesson Supervision: Deliver pre-set lessons and ensure pupils stay on task with their work. Classroom Management: Maintain strong behaviour management and uphold school policies. Student Engagement: Encourage participation and support pupils in completing assigned tasks. Progress Monitoring: Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil performance and behaviour. Professional Coordination: Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure smooth lesson delivery.
