Secondary Cover Supervisor - Rossett Wrexham Location: Rossett (Post Code: LL12) Role: Secondary Cover Supervisor Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Daily Supply Start Date: September 2026 Pay Rate: £85.44-£110 per day About the Role We are seeking confident and reliable Secondary Cover Supervisors to join welcoming schools in the Rossett Wrexham (Post Code: LL12) area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and can confidently manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, maintaining positive behaviour and ensuring students remain focused and engaged. Key Responsibilities Supervise secondary students across a range of subjects and year groups. Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and activities. Maintain a calm, safe and positive classroom environment. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Support students with their learning and encourage engagement. Take accurate registers and report any issues to relevant staff. Ensure students complete the work provided by the class teacher. Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times. Requirements Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Confident communication and interpersonal abilities.
