This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain further experience within a specialist educational environment. As an SEN Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the usual teacher. You will support pupils to remain engaged with their learning, maintain a positive classroom environment and ensure that work is completed in line with the teacher''s instructions. Depending on the setting, you may also provide additional 1:1 or small-group support to pupils who require a more individualised approach. You may be working with pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour, communication difficulties and other complex learning needs.
