Position: Cover SupervisorContract/Position Start Date: ASAPDuration: Daily and Long-TermContract Type: TemporaryFull Time/Part Time: Full TimeMinimum Rate of Pay: GBP95-GBP135Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacherManage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environmentSupport students across a range of subjects and year groupsEnsure students remain on task and engaged with learningProvide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress, engagement, and behaviourBuild positive relationships with students and staffSupport the wider school community when requiredExperience, Training and Qualifications Graduate DegreePrevious experience as a Cover Supervisor, HLTA, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, Learning Mentor, Sports Coach, or Youth Worker is highly desirableStrong classroom and behaviour management skills are essentialUp-to-date Safeguarding training is required.
