Cover Supervisor SheffieldLocation: Sheffield Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Start Date: May Half Term 2026 Salary: £110 £120 per day (dependent on experience)About the RolePK Education are working with a number of secondary schools in Sheffield who are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to start from May half term. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience or continue working within education in a flexible role.As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and on task while maintaining a positive learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervising classes across KS3 and KS4 using work set by teaching staff. Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Supporting students to stay engaged and complete their work. Building positive relationships with pupils and staff. Providing feedback on student behaviour and progress.What We re Looking ForExperience working with young people, ideally within a school setting. Confidence leading a classroom. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. A proactive and adaptable approach.
