Cover Supervisor

PK Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Wakefield. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.This full-time role is to start ASAP and is expected to continue on an ongoing basis, potentially until the end of the academic year.The Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting schools by delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.Key responsibilities include: Delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjectsManaging classroom behaviour effectivelySupporting students within the classroom environmentEncouraging participation and maintaining a productive atmosphereWorking with different year groups across secondary education What We Are Looking For: Graduates or aspiring teachers looking to gain school-based experienceStrong communication skills and confidence working with young peoplePrevious experience working with children or young people is desirablePositive, adaptable, and proactive individualsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) This Role is Ideal For: Graduates considering a career in teachingIndividuals looking to complete teacher training or a PGCEFuture teachers ..... full job details .....
