Veritas Education are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Penrith, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, whether you''re considering a career in teaching or already have experience working with young people.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise whole classes in the absence of the class teacher
• Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Provide support to students where required

• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
• A proactive and adaptable attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
