Location: Hatfield and Surrounding Areas Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Long-Term and Daily Supply Opportunities Salary: 100 - 115 per day (depending on experience) Enhanced DBS Required Job Summary We are seeking confident, reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across St Albans and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy working with young people. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged with the work that has been set while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, graduates or experienced education professionals looking to further their careers within schools. Key Responsibilities Supervise classes in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain focused on learning. Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school''s behaviour policy. Support students in completing classwork and encourage positive engagement. Maintain a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment. Record attendance and report any concerns or incidents to teaching staff. Provide feedback to teachers regarding student participation, behaviour and lesson outcomes. Support students with additional learning needs where appropriate.
