Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor with SEN Experience Pay Rate: £100 - £130 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). This role is during school hours.Location: Bath Hours: Part-time during school hours Hanson Recruitment is working with a large number of schools across the South-West which require teachers, teaching assistants, and cover supervisors.We are currently recruiting for a cover supervisor with experience in SEN to work in SEN settings in Bath - both resource bases in mainstream schools and SEN schools. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, and ensuring students remain engaged in learning while maintaining a calm, structured, and supportive environment.Responsibilities include:To plan and deliver learning activities to children and young people, differentiating, modifying and using specialist activities and approaches according to children or young people''s responses/needsSupervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.Deliver pre-set work, ensuring students stay on task and complete assigned activities.Provide targeted support for students with SEN, adapting approaches as needed.To support students with SEN to fulfil their academic potentialTo be involved in keeping records and evaluating identified students'' progressTo assist with the development and implementation of support plansTo prepare students beforehand for a task, e.g. pre-teachingTo supervise practical tasksTo carry out structured classroom assessment/observation and ..... full job details .....
