This role requires you to provide cover for teacher absences, including sickness and other leave, ensuring students remain engaged with pre-set work in a well-managed classroom environment. If you have strong organisational skills, excellent classroom management abilities, and enjoy working with young people, we d love to hear from you.This role is on a day-to-day basis (Monday Friday), due to the nature of the role you may receive a call on the day of work between 7am 7:30am.Key Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor: Oversee and manage a classroom in the absence of a regular teacherEnsure students remain on task and follow the provided lesson planDistribute and explain pre-prepared lesson materials and instructions to students.Monitor progress and provide feedback to the relevant teacher or department.Manage any disruptions effectively and report concerns to senior staff.
