Cover Supervisor

Working as part of a committed team, you will play an important role in ensuring students continue to receive high-quality learning and support in the absence of their usual classroom teacher. The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Supervise classes across a variety of subjects when teachers are unavailable. Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged with their learning. Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school''s expectations and values. Support students to achieve their best academically and personally. Build positive relationships with students and staff. Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and engagement. Promote a respectful, inclusive and supportive classroom environment. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with young people in an education, youth work or mentoring setting. Is confident managing groups of secondary-aged students. Has excellent communication and organisational skills. Is calm, adaptable and able to build positive relationships. Has a passion for supporting students'' learning and development.
