Cover Supervisor

We are looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a well-established secondary school in the Sevenoaks area. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes using pre-set lesson materials.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a productive atmosphere.
• Support students with their learning where appropriate.
• Ensure school policies and safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons.

Requirements

• Experience working with young people is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom confidently and professionally.
