Cover Supervisor

Are you passionate about education and confident in managing a classroom? PK Education is currently recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the west midlands area.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting schools by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. Your main responsibility will be to ensure students remain on task with their pre-set work, maintaining a positive and focused learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Ensure pupils stay engaged and complete the work set

• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress or issues

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a school environment (essential)

• Strong classroom management skills

• Confident, reliable, and adaptable

• A genuine interest in supporting young people in their learning
