GSL Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Basingstoke on a completely flexible basis. With no minimum days required, you decide when you work whether it’s part-time to fit around studies or other commitments, or full-time for consistent weekly income.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Cover Supervisor
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Providing guidance and support to pupils during set activities
- Supervising pupils in the absence of the class teacher
- Assisting with administrative tasks and supporting the smooth running of the school day
- Building positive relationships with staff and students to create an effective learning environment

Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification is advantageous, but not essential
- Previous experience working with young people is beneficial (youth work, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
- Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and engaging with students
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply)
