Are you passionate about education and looking to gain valuable experience in secondary schools? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis at a secondary school in Cardiff.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising pre-set lessons across a range of subjects. You will manage the classroom environment, support students with their learning, and ensure the school''s policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to secondary-age students

• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay on task

• Provide assistance to students where needed to support their understanding

• Liaise with teaching staff and senior leaders as required

• Maintain a positive and safe learning environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people (e.g., in education, coaching, youth work, etc.)

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Adaptability and a proactive approach

• A commitment to supporting students education and well-being

• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new DBS

• Right to work in the UK

• Registered on the EWC
