Apex Educ8 is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in North West London for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning while supporting students in a positive and well-structured environment. The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged with the work set and maintaining high standards of behaviour across the classroom. Responsibilities Supervise classes across a range of curriculum subjects. Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials provided by teaching staff. Maintain a calm, purposeful and inclusive learning environment. Promote positive behaviour and follow the school''s behaviour policy. Support students to remain focused and engaged throughout lessons. Record attendance and report any concerns to the appropriate staff. Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams and senior leaders. Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professional practice.
