Whether you''re considering a future career in teaching, already have experience working with children or are looking for a rewarding role with flexibility, we''d love to hear from you.You''ll help maintain continuity in the classroom when teachers are absent, ensuring pupils remain focused, follow their pre-planned work and have a positive learning experience.What will you be doing?Supervising classes of secondary school pupils during teacher absences.Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and explaining tasks clearly.Maintaining a positive learning environment and managing classroom behaviour.Encouraging pupils to stay focused, engaged and on task.Supporting school staff with day-to-day classroom requirements.Following school policies, safeguarding procedures and behaviour expectations.Adapting to different schools, classes and subjects throughout the working week.Who would suit this role?You don''t need Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to work as a Cover Supervisor.
