Enlighten Supply Pool are working with a secondary school in Ealing who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Manager to start ASAP or in September. This is a full-time long term to permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise and manage daily staff cover (teaching and non-teaching)
• Play a key role in the recruitment process for long term and permanent appointments
• Manage a budget effectively
• Deliver lessons using pre-prepared materials to full classes
• Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment
• Support continuity of learning by liaising with returning staff

Key Requirements

• Adaptability, resilience and the ability to think on your feet are essential in this varied and evolving role, as will an ability to communicate effectively
• Strong ICT skills
• Good command of English
• Previous experience as a Cover Manager or working within the HR department of schools
