Course Team Leader - GCSE and Functional Skills EnglishLocation: Northwest LondonJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £40,548 to £47,939 per annum, inclusive of London WeightingWe are seeking a Course Team Leader to lead the coordination and continuous development of the curriculum across GCSE and Functional Skills English programmes. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about English education and curriculum development.Day-to-day of the role:Teach across a range of GCSE and Functional Skills English programmes.Play a central role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of provision.Work closely with the Section Manager to support quality assurance activities, including course health checks and external verification.Contribute to the design and development of an engaging curriculum that incorporates extracurricular activities and meaningful employer engagement.Lead and mentor a team of educators, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English.Strong leadership skills with experience in curriculum development and quality assurance.Ability to design and implement innovative teaching strategies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A commitment to continuous professional development.Benefits:Competitive salary package inclusive of London Weighting.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Supportive and collaborative work ..... full job details .....
