Country Manager - Shipping Annual Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 plus commission Location: Wembley, United Kingdom Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking a Country Manager to lead our UK operations at a leading global shipping company. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in sea freight and a proven leadership background. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving commercial growth, operational excellence, and financial performance in the UK. Day-to-day of the role: Develop and execute the country business strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets. Lead and manage all commercial, operational, and administrative activities within the UK. Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer portfolio. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, shipping lines, agents, and strategic partners. Oversee shipping operations to ensure high service standards, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Manage the country''s financial performance, including budgeting, PandL, cost control, and revenue growth. Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international shipping standards. Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
