Counterbalance Forklift Operator (FLT)

Position: Counterbalance Forklift Drivers (FLT)
Contract Type: Temporary/ Temp-to-Perm

Shift Pattern (Days): 6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm (weekly rotation)

Pay: -17.05 per hour + Holiday Pay + Benefits

Shift Pattern (Nights): 10pm-6am

Pay: -18.89 per hour + Holiday Pay + Benefits

Location: South Ockendon, Essex

Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for your next opportunity? Adecco Romford & London East are recruiting for skilled Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy warehouse and yard operation. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidates!

**Due to the location of this client and the shift times - it is best suited to applicants with their own transport**

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 4.5 Ton Counterbalance Forklift with triple forks to move, stack and organise pallets
• Load and unload pallet stacks from HGVs and delivery vehicles
• Safely transport and store pallets within the warehouse and yard
• Carry out daily forklift safety checks and basic maintenance where required
• Assist with manual handling and warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
• Previous experience operating heavy-duty forklifts, ideally 4.5 Ton or above
• Experience using double or triple fork attachments would be advantageous
• Good understanding of warehouse operations
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling tasks in a fast-paced environment
