Join a growing, well-invested business in Brockworth and become part of a busy, fast-paced warehouse team! We’re looking for a proactive Counterbalance Forklift Driver to help keep operations running smoothly.
This hands-on role is perfect for someone with strong experience working in goods in and goods out, ideally within a manufacturing environment, along with good stock management skills. Counterbalance forklift experience is required, although training can be provided.
You’ll manage goods in and out, maintain accurate stock, and ensure everything is organised and efficient. A key part of the role involves counting pallets and moving pallets. With strong growth plans, this role offers a fantastic chance to develop your career and grow with the business.
Role and Responsibilities
- Operate a Counterbalance forklift truck safely to handle incoming and outgoing goods
- Manage goods in and goods out efficiently
- Ensure stock is issued accurately and on time
- Maintain precise stock records using internal IT systems
- Carry out stock checks and assist with stock take activities
- Correctly code and track all materials
- Help with dispatch and movement of goods for collection
- Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised stores environment (5S)
- Support wider warehouse operations as needed
- Previous warehouse or stores experience with a strong focus on goods in and goods out
- Counterbalance forklift licence required
- Good stock management and organisational skills
- Comfortable in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Strong attention to detail, especially with coded stock and systems
- IT literate with experience using warehouse stock systems
- Team player with good communication skills
- Able to work independently and take ownership of your workload
- £13.50 per hour
- Day shift hours (08:00–17:00)
- Full-time, fixed term contract
