Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Flexible People Ltd are urgently seeking a Counterbalance truck driver for a well known company based in East Kilbride. This is a full time ongoing position.

This is for our prestigious client that specializes in the distribution of wholesale cleaning products.

Duties will include:

• General warehouse work
• Loading and unloading vehicles with the use of the counterbalance or the reach
• Managing and organizing stock with the use of a reach truck and counterbalance
• Partaking in the rotation of stock
• Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are followed.

The job is Monday to Friday, the hours of work are 10:00-19:00.

The pay rate is -14.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Must own suitable workwear: black or navy trousers, plain t-shirt, hi-vis vest, and safety boots
• If you have a Reach license then please still apply as the company have use of Reach.-
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
• Must speak, read, and write fluent English
• National Insurance number is required
• Previous experience on the counterbalance or reach

The reach or the counterbalance MUST be-accredited-and in date
