Job Responsibilities
- Operate the relevant M.H.E. employed within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- Unload inbound shipments safely andamp; move product to holding andamp; storage locations.
- Ensure inbound andamp; outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage and/or contamination. Report quality variances.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the correct quantity and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Perform picking duties, where required, in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
- Efficiently move product from storage and holding areas on to outbound vehicles.
- Use RF equipment for picking, receiving, put away and load functions, as required.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Perform checks/inspection of equipment as laid down by process, report on equipment performance/non-performance.
Required Skills andamp; Qualifications
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Previous experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operation
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual tasks and operate machinery
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
