This is a very exciting position, commencing from end of September, for a period of 3 weeks! Overall Purpose: To assist in general work operations in the warehouse and forecourt including stacking away grape picking crates, cleaning pallets and general tidying of the outdoor work area. Duties and Responsibilities: To complete a ''forklift safety check sheet'' at the start of each shift During operation of the press loading system, receive cleaned picking crates as they emerge from the crate washer and stack them in the designated area, ready for re-use Unload trailers of fruit pallets as soon as trailers arrive into designated loading bays. Weigh pallets of fruit on platform scales and move to loading bay as directed by Weighbridge operator Transport fruit pallets from loading bays to de-palletiser system as directed by Shift Manager Load pallets of clean and empty crates onto trailers as directed by Shift Manager.
