A Counterbalance Forklift and Yard Operative is required for a temporary role based in Whitburn, West Lothian. Reporting to site management, the position involves working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:00, with a pay rate of up to £14.00 per hour via weekly payments. The role centres on safely operating a counterbalance forklift within a busy builders merchant environment. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles carrying timber and other products, moving stock across the warehouse and yard, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. General warehouse duties and occasional trade counter customer assistance also form part of this position. Immediate starts are available for this temporary placement.

Manpower is currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift andamp; Yard Operative on behalf of our client.
This is a temporary position with immediate starts available.

The Role: You will be working within a busy builders merchant environment.

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading vehicles with timber and other products
Moving stock within the warehouse and yard areas
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
Supporting general warehouse duties as required
Occasionally helping customers at trade counter

Requirements:

Valid external Counterbalance Forklift licence (in-house tickets are not accepted)
Previous warehouse and FLT experience
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
Due to the client''s location, own transport is essential
