About the Role

Manpower UK is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift and Yard Operative for a temporary role in Airdrie, offering up to £14.00 per hour with weekly pay. The position involves a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30am to 5:00pm. Working within a builders’ merchant setting, the successful candidate will safely operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload vehicles with timber and other products, and move stock across the warehouse and yard. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace is essential, alongside supporting general warehouse duties. Immediate starts are available for this client-based vacancy.

Manpower is currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift andamp; Yard Operative on behalf of our client.
This is a temporary position with immediate starts available.

The Role
You will be working within a busy builders'' merchant environment, carrying out a variety of warehouse and yard duties, including:

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading vehicles with timber and other products
Moving stock within the warehouse and yard areas
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
Supporting general warehouse duties as required
Occasionally assisting customers at the trade counter

Requirements

Valid external Counterbalance Forklift licence (in-house licences are not accepted)
Previous warehouse and Counterbalance FLT experience
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
Due to the client''s location, own transport is essential
