Based in Whitburn, this temporary Counterbalance Forklift and Yard Operative role with Manpower UK offers a rate of up to £14.00 per hour with weekly pay. Working Monday to Friday, with starts from 07:30 until 17:00, you will operate a counterbalance truck within a builders merchant setting. Duties include loading and unloading timber deliveries, moving stock across the yard, and assisting at the trade counter. You will also maintain safety standards and support general warehouse tasks. Immediate starts are available for candidates holding a valid counterbalance licence. Prior experience in a similar environment is essential for this position.

Manpower is currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift andamp; Yard Operative on behalf of our client.
This is a temporary position with immediate starts available.

The Role: You will be working within a busy builders merchant environment.

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading vehicles with timber and other products
Moving stock within the warehouse and yard areas
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
Supporting general warehouse duties as required
Occasionally helping customers at trade counter

Requirements:

Valid external Counterbalance Forklift licence (in-house tickets are not accepted)
Previous warehouse and FLT experience
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
Due to the client''s location, own transport is essential
