Location: Poolsbrook, Chesterfield
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour to £14:00 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Hours per week: 42.5
Contract: 8–12 weeks guaranteed, with the potential for a permanent position

We are currently recruiting for Counterbalance FLT Drivers / Warehouse Operatives to join a busy manufacturing and production environment based in Poolsbrook.

This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for immediate, consistent work, with 8–12 weeks guaranteed and the potential for a permanent position for the right people.

The roles involve a combination of forklift truck operation and hands-on production or assembly duties. We are looking for practical, reliable individuals who are happy to get involved and support the wider team.

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.

• Supporting the movement and organisation of stock and materials.

• Assisting with general production and warehouse duties.

• Helping with the assembly of modular products.

• Assisting with the fitting of plastic rings into flexible sleeves.

• Moving materials and products around the site as required.

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

• Must hold a valid counterbalance FLT licence.

• Previous forklift or warehouse experience is preferred.

• Comfortable carrying out practical, hands-on duties alongside FLT work.

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexible and willing to support different areas of production.

• Must be able to drive or live locally to Poolsbrook due to the location and working hours.

• £13.00 per hour.

• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am–5:00pm.

• 42.5 hours per week.

• Guaranteed work for 8–12 weeks.

• Potential for a permanent position following the assignment.

• A varied role combining FLT operation, production and assembly.
