Counterbalance FLT Driver

Location: St Helens-Haydock Contract: Permanent Salary: 35,000 + Bonus Shift Pattern: Monday-Thursday 8pm-6am Due to continued growth, new market opportunities and sustained high workload, a manufacturing business in the wood-based products sector is looking to recruit additional Counterbalance FLT Drivers. As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will support the production and warehouse teams to ensure order schedules are met, and support the business to continue to deliver the service standards it has maintained for many years. The Counterbalance FLT Driver plays a vital role in helping to maintain commercially attractive lead times while delivering high-quality products safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities FLT Operations: Safely operate a Counterbalance forklift to transport finished goods from production lines to storage or dispatch areas. Packing and Preparation: Pack, wrap, and strap finished products onto pallets for shipment. Loading/Unloading: Load finished goods onto lorries and unload incoming raw materials. Inventory Management: Perform stock checks, scan, and label products accurately, ensuring the right items are dispatched.
