Counterbalance Operative - Temporary to Permanent 40 Hours per Week + Plenty of Overtime 7:00am-3:30pmSouthminster Immediate Start AvailableWe are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Materials Handling Operative to support the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods on site. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in keeping daily operations running smoothly.Overall Purpose of the RoleTo ensure materials are safely transported, supplied, and stored to support an effective production process.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccurately completing stock, movement, and distribution recordsSupplying raw materials and components to production areas as requiredCollecting, transporting, and storing various materials including bales and other ingredientsMoving goods from and to storage areas, including packaging and finished productsCompleting clear handovers with operators at the start and end of shiftsWorking day and night shifts as requiredSupporting occasional weekend and bank holiday work during peak periodsDuties may change over time in line with business needs, and flexibility is expected.Key Skills and ExperienceExperience in a production, warehouse, or similar operational environmentHealth and Safety knowledge or qualifications beneficialStrong organisational skills and attention to detailGood verbal and written communicationA positive team-focused approachForklift Truck driving experience (minimum 6 months)Telehandler or shunter skills (training ..... full job details .....
