Location: Coventry| £13.92 per Hour

Type: Temporary to Permanent/Full-Time

Are you an experienced Counterbalance Driver? Regional Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a industry-leading distributor/manufacturer/logistics company that are looking for a new individual to join their team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.  Roles & Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently in line with company standards
• Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate manual handling techniques
• Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting any damages or discrepancies
• Sorting, organising, and storing stock in the correct warehouse locations
• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, pump trucks, and (where trained) forklifts
• Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling, wrapping, and securing pallets
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
• Assisting with regular stock takes and inventory checks
• Following health and safety procedures and complying with warehouse regulations
• Meeting daily productivity targets and working effectively as part of a team
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required by supervisors or management

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable
• Ability to carry out manual handling and physically demanding tasks
• Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic
• Ability to always follow health and safety procedures
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork
• Forklift licence (FLT) valid is needed for this position
