Counterbalance and Machine OperativeLocation: St NeotsHours: 7am-3:30pm, Monday to FridayPay: £13.50 per hourWe are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT and Machine Operative to join a busy industrial processing environment in St Neots.This is a hands-on role involving the operation of specialist machinery, alongside using a Counterbalance Forklift to move materials around the site.The ideal candidate will be reliable, practical and comfortable working around machinery. Previous experience within agriculture, manufacturing, production or another industrial environment would be highly advantageous.Duties of an FLT and Machine Operative: Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.Operating and monitoring specialist processing and cleaning machinery.Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site.Monitoring machinery throughout the operation and reporting any faults or issues.Carrying out routine checks on machinery and equipment.Supporting general production and processing duties.Ensuring materials are handled and stored correctly.Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the working area.Following health and safety and company procedures at all times.Working as part of a team to ensure daily operational requirements are met.Taking responsibility for the safe and correct use of machinery and equipment.
