Counter balance forklift driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, unload, and store goods while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.Key Responsibilities Safely operate a counterbalance forklift in accordance with company procedures and health and safety regulations.Load and unload deliveries from lorries and containers.Move stock to designated storage locations.Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch when required.Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage.Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and free from hazards.Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to meet daily targets. Skills and Experience Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, or equivalent).Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Good communication skills.Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
