Our London Borough is looking to employ an individual with an enthusiastic attitude to deliver a high-quality housing service to our residents in the area. The successful candidate will be required to join a dynamic, customer focussed team with aims to reach targets are solve any complex problems that appear in the job role.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and process Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction claims.
Administer and collect Council Tax liabilities and handle overpayments.
Support vulnerable residents, offering guidance and signposting where appropriate.
Deliver high-quality customer service across various contact channels.
Contribute to service improvement, performance tracking, and legislative compliance.
Mentor new staff and support less experienced colleagues (SO2 responsibilities).
Assist in preparing responses to complaints and liaise with external stakeholders.
