Costs Draftsman Manchester £40,000 - £55,000 DOE + Benefits A growing claimant law firm is seeking a Costs Draftsman to join its Manchester office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and successful legal practice with a strong caseload and clear opportunities for progression. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of costs matters, including drafting Bills of Costs, negotiating settlements and supporting legal costs recovery across claimant litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a Costs Draftsman or Costs Lawyer Strong knowledge of legal costs procedures Experience within claimant litigation costs Excellent drafting and negotiation skills Ability to manage files independently Key responsibilities: Drafting Bills of Costs and costs documents Handling costs negotiations and settlements Preparing matters for detailed assessment Managing costs files from inception to conclusion Maximising costs recovery while maintaining compliance The firm offers a competitive salary, high-quality work, genuine progression opportunities and a supportive working environment.
