Overview
As a Cost Manager, you will be part of a small but strong team dedicated to planning, controlling, and monitoring project costs across the UK. You will play a key role in ensuring financial efficiency, managing budgets, forecasting costs, and keeping projects aligned with financial objectives.Responsibilities
Establish and develop cost account systems (i.e. Material, Labor, Third Party Workers) for Projects and internal orders, including Billings, project maintenance in SAP (Project setup, Closure, Cost Centre Set up).Maintain annual standard calculations schemes for material, labor, and overhead, and provide cost calculation base for product / project pricing.Track and maintain Actual cost compared to planned cost on project and analyse variances.Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders.Assist in internal and external audits.Ensure coherence with superior Controlling standards, policies and procedures, and adopt respective processes.Ensure planning, monitoring and reviews of projects'' budgets, and provide comments on Actual vs. Plan reports.Monitor financial performance, provide KPI analysis, and prepare and comment on respective performance reporting and forecasts.Ensure proper revenue and cost controlling, and design and maintenance of underlying planned cost in account systems.Analyse, prepare, approve and review Cost Centre expenditures, and provide respective reporting.Oversee day-to-day controlling and financial analysis operations.Gather and consolidate budget data and monitor Actual vs. Plans comparisons.Prepare regular business reports, checks for accuracy and completeness.May carry out ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations.Support evaluations of assets and liabilities.Benefits
