Cost Engineer

Our client, a leading player in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Cost Engineer for a full-time contract, working on a fully billable MOD contract in Warrington. The role requires SC clearance and the successful applicant must be a sole UK national in accordance with contract requirements.Key Responsibilities:Applying project controls processes and systemsProject set-up, close-out, and reconciliationsEnsuring accurate cost allocationCost forecasting and financial analysisMonitoring revenue and gross marginEnsuring corporate systems accurately reflect project statusMonitoring aged debt and supporting recoveryPreparing client-specific monthly reportsProducing internal reporting for Operational Project ReviewsContributing to and/or attending monthly project meetingsSupporting bids and proposalsAdditional Responsibilities:Supporting Project/Programme Managers with:Earned value analysisRisk and opportunity managementProgramme and resource monitoringPreparing change control and early warning noticesMaintaining quality documentationMonitoring key performance indicatorsThis is a hybrid role, primarily based in Warrington, with part-time and flexible working options available.Job Requirements:Experience in cost managementStrong Excel skillsConfident communication skillsAbility to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levelsSC clearanceAbility to travel to Warrington office 2 days per weekSole UK national per contract ..... full job details .....
