Cost Engineer Defence Projects Location: London (Hybrid Working) Salary: £40,000 £50,000 + Benefits About the Role Conrad Consulting is pleased to be partnering with a leading international consultancy to recruit a Cost Engineer for their London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to complex and high-profile defence programmes, supporting the successful delivery of critical infrastructure and national security projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts across defence projects Monitor project costs and performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions Support cost planning, benchmarking, and value engineering activities Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate cost reporting Assist in risk analysis and contingency planning Produce detailed cost reports and present findings to key stakeholders Ensure compliance with project controls processes and governance standards Working Arrangements and Travel Hybrid working model: typically 2 3 days on client site or office, with 2 3 days working from home London office attendance may only be required approximately once per month for team meetings Travel to client sites is required, with flexibility essential Occasional overnight stays may be necessary depending on project demands Requirements Previous experience in a Cost Engineer, Cost Consultant, or similar role Experience within defence, ..... full job details .....
