      <description>Location: Suffolk | Salary: &amp;pound;37000 - &amp;pound;48000/annum | Type: Permanent | Cost Controller    The Opportunity   An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cost Controller to join a leading specialist contractor delivering works on one of the UK''s largest infrastructure programmes.  Working within a major project environment, you''ll support the commercial and finance teams by delivering accurate cost reporting, forecasting and financial analysis while helping to ensure strong commercial governance across the project.   Key Responsibilities    Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts.  Prepare regular cost reports and analyse financial performance.  Support forecasting, accruals and committed cost reporting.  Assist with audit activities and ensure compliance with project procedures.  Work closely with commercial, procurement and operational teams to provide financial insight.  Identify opportunities to improve reporting, governance and cost efficiency.  Support accurate financial planning and project decision-making.
