Cost Controller - Major Infrastructure ProjectLocation: SuffolkSalary: Up to 48,000 + Car / Car AllowanceThe OpportunityWe are working on a major infrastructure project in Suffolk and are looking for an experienced Cost Controller to support robust financial governance and commercial performance across the programme.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional with experience in construction, engineering or major infrastructure projects, who has a strong understanding of NEC contracts and project cost control.You will work closely with finance, commercial, procurement and delivery teams, providing accurate cost reporting, forecasting and financial insight to support effective decision-making.The RoleAs Cost Controller, you will be responsible for:Monitoring project costs against budgets, forecasts and NEC Defined Cost principles.Preparing regular cost reports, including Disallowed Cost and fee-based forecasts.Analysing cost variances and providing clear financial insight to project teams.Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with NEC contractual requirements and project governance.Working closely with finance, commercial, procurement and delivery teams.Improving forecasting accuracy and monitoring committed costs, accruals and financial risks.Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and improved financial performance.Supporting the development and improvement of financial controls, reporting processes and governance.Providing accurate and ..... full job details .....
