Cost Controller

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Cost Controller to work on one of the largest defence projects in the UK. The role is a hybrid role, with a few days consecutive on site every month (expensed).This role offers the opportunity to join a growing and ambitious team responsible for delivering complex infrastructure projects in support of the UK submarine programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management and project controls, supporting a portfolio of capital investment projects across a major naval site.This position is ideal for individuals with a background in project controls, cost management, finance, or project support who are looking to broaden their skills within a dynamic environment. It will particularly suit motivated candidates keen to develop their expertise in large-scale infrastructure delivery within a highly regulated sector.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain project baseline budgets.Monitor, validate, and control project accruals, commitments, and resource forecasts.Manage and control cost risk budgets and financial change processes.Provide accurate financial performance and cost reports, including earned value analysis.Deliver key reporting outputs such as cost breakdown structures, estimates at completion, and lessons learned updates.
